Andretti: At least I have not mailed out dick picks.

Now, Andretti has not said that, but... he should. He won't. But, if I was him, I would.
"A couple of minutes coverage in our 6 o'clock TV News", is that not 'value'?

Well it seems she wont have long until it might all go away. Or Horner might. :idunno:

According to the BBC:
Christian Horner allegations: Hearing into complaint against Red Bull team principal set for Friday
BBC Sport understands the hearing will take place in the UK.

The rumours on X (Twitter) now is that if Horner is pushed out of Red Bull, Adrian Newey might follow him out of the door. Can you imagine the scramble to sign him up if that happened. Imagine if Ferrari got him as well!!!!

I wonder how interested Newey still is in F1. I wasn't it that long ago that he went to help out with Americas Cup yachts? The current regs have brought him back, but I have to wonder if he isn't looking for something less restrictive to ply his trade in.

Horner was quoted a few days ago, that Newey will be involved in unrelated projects at RB. No specifics given.

I wish I could claim this one but cant... read elsewhere: Made me chuckle anyway and appealed to my sense of humour..
Is it just that winning 21 out of 22 GPs in one season is seen as 'inappropriate and controlling behaviour...'?

Suggestions who could replace Horner are begging to pop up.
Germany’s Auto Motor und Sport, meanwhile, thinks the man most likely to replace Horner if he is ousted is long-time Red Bull team manager Jonathan Wheatley.
https://www.gptoday.com/full_story/view ... l_scandal/

Horner is still on the job with backing of Thai co-owner. If Horner survives, so called "healing process" is going to difficult, and reconcilliation might never happen. Not surprisingly those who resent Marko's presence blaming him for Horner's troubles, rather than to focus on nature of the allegations. Regarding that, no one actually proved (yet) that Marko is involved in any way.

I think the team is not starting well. it's going to be a difficult year. Rivals improve, and internally it's mess. Big job is awaiting for Max right from the gate.

Unrelated opinion - Horner and Wheatley are there for almost two decades. Injecting new blood and fresh thinking might be good path to choose. I am against distractions and disturbances, but "good change" is a way forward everywhere, not just in the sport.

Latest article from GP Today has the issue being a work-place issue, vice sexual harassment, as many have assumed. So no dick pics, not related to sexual behavior, etc. It is claimed that is about his "strict work regime" and "controlling behavoir." Not sure I buy this, but wanted to put that out there in case he hasn't been sending dick pics: https://www.gpblog.com/en/news/259147/t ... glass.html

Not sure why Gerri Halliwell would be distraught if it was just a boss/employee argument, or why they would be using an outside barrister to investigate. At least in America, bosses are allowed to be major league assholes (witness Elon Musk's latest management) and there is not legal response to it.

I have to say when the dick pics suggestion came out I struggled to see how that could be seen as "controlling behaviour". On the other hand "inappropriate behaviour" could be a number of things. Maybe he farted in the lunch room! :idunno:

I have given up having thoughts about what did or didnt happen now.... Friday is D Day and we should have more idea then. I am happy to wait and see what the official verdict is.

It's not the best pre-season build up for a team is it? This has to be destabilising for them. I mean some would be on his side, others would probably think he deserves having the book chucked at him. It's not going to held with team unity that's for sure. I can't see why his wife would be so mad if a woman wasn't involved in it. Maybe not as far as dirty pictures, but there is usually no smoke without fire.

How much they will actually tell us after Friday is anyone's guess. I know these days you can get people who try to set others up for their own nasty means, it could turn out to be that, or someone who is over sensitive and making a mountain out of a molehill. Only time will tell I guess, whatever happens his reputation has now been tainted for some.

So, what have we learned (and I am using that word under advisement) so far:

1. Horner sent some naugfhty picture to someone.

2. RB camp wants him out. RB = (evil) Austrians at the top, + Marco, Max and Jos.

3. Horner is defended by Thai and friends. (Not sure who those are.)

4. Horner refused to leave despite RB asked him to do so.

5. Mess is all evil Marco's doing, who wants all power for himself.

6. Horner actually did not sent any pictures. He has merely asked politely and nicely a female collegue to work harder, and she did not like that and reported him for that.

That's enough for now? Well no. Apparently there are conducted two parallel investigations. Law specialist, and RB their own internal inquiry.

From total domination last year now we got this? Can't say it's fun. The team got a bad start, and one really wonders who is really behind this. (May I suggest a man of interest, Hamilton?)

We will have to wait to Friday. If he sent pictures, he is gone, and it is all his own fault. If it just an employee issue that went out of control, then he may well survive it, it depends on how truly outrageous his actions were.

By the way, Marko and Horner knew each other before F1, since F2 days. I am not buying the plots and counterplot stories.

Totally agree. Still, having bad feeling about that stuff. I am not sure if Horner's ongoing management of the team is tenable, guilty or not. Damage is done, and truckload of interpretations will follow, should he remain where he is. Regretable situation. We will see if he will attend car launch.

If he did send pics he is just plain stupid, especially int his day and age of everything being so digital, recordable and traceable.. Agreed if he sent anything unsavoury he is gone. Wait and see. The implications are worse than to just Horner. Sponsors of the team etc dont want to be aligned with anything dodgy as it spins off on their brand.
Look at the 2023 Championship winning Erebus Coca Cola Camaro to see that. And that was just from an internal dispute between a driver and management that went public. Their sponsors all terminated their contracts because of the associated effect on their image.

Last week the car looked like this::No spare space even for the Erebus team name.

Yesterday it went testing looking like this:
