He was super solid and made a few awesome passes. He looked to have the race well under control before he switched over to a 3-stop strategy. If he hadn't caught three backmarkers between him and Dixon in the end he would have had an easy win.
I dn't think he was on for a 2-stopper, he would always be several laps off after his first pit stop anyway. He showed on Sunday that he's as fast as anyone, and as Chip himself says: it's much easier to get a driver to slow down, than getting a slow driver to speed up.

Rosenqvist was on a three stop strategy from the start, they only wanted to do a shorter stint on the reds in the middle which left the impression he was on two stops.

Going hybrid in 2022. 900+ BHP. And finally onboard starters.

Yay for Richmond - series needs to keep its ovals, and a return would be good.

As for hybrids - sure, why not. Hopefully it brings a third manufacturer.

They won't be doing the 900 BHP thing on the ovals, no. From what I've gathered, they'll run approximately 650 BHP on the ovals.

This year's Road America race shot with a Super 8 cam from 1968, with commentary from the 1950's and 1960's to boot. Terrific stuff.

So, if it turns out to be true, SPM won't use Hondas for next year. Which probably means that Hinch is gone. Back to HSR/Andretti perhaps if McLaren/SPM manages to sway Herta the other way? Andretti have all cars filled and I doubt Marco wants to retire just to keep Colton in the organization.

Interesting. Who would be in the second seat? Does Ericsson have a second year on his contract and would McLaren want to keep him over grabbing a big name driver from another team?

One or two car team? Could use it as a proving ground for young talent.
