Recently announced - Motorsport Manager is coming to PC.

I played the little mobile game a while ago, and it was good fun, but obviously very basic.

Getting very excited by the thought of a motorsport management game. It's been bloody years since Grand Prix Manager and F1 Manager.

Was there anyone else who waited the decade for Grand Prix Racing Manager (www.gprm.co.uk)? What a disappointment that was. Better than the West Brothers at least with their vapourware - but that's a gripe for another day.

In any case, this mob have Sega as publishers, so you know it'll happen. Release date in September 2016. Me thinks it'll be under the Christmas tree this year...

Yes we have Christmas in Summer, but September is not summer in the Southern States of Aus..... far from it. Our Summer doesn't start until the European Winter officially does.

In fact September is still officially the ski-ing season in the mountains a couple of hours drive North of Melbourne.

Up in the land of Monte and Racer (Queensland) is a very different weather pattern to us Southerners.

It's out, I've got it. It's fun.

A few bugs here and there that hopefully a patch or two will fix. The biggest annoyance is the game engine and how lapped cars behave. It would also be nice if there was an easy way to compare setups between cars. But other than that, it's a good game, IMO. Really enjoying it! I like how the game is dynamic with the rule changes as well - over time the world morphs - whether you like it or not (you can vote, but you can lose votes).

It'll be great if they make it moddable and get real teams/drivers/tracks/series in there.

I loved the old GP Manager! It had a lot of flaws, but was funfunfun. Then I was excited about GP Manager 2, bought it, only to find out that all the good things about the old game had gone, but the bad things remained or got even worse. I was never more disappointed by an "upgrade"!
