Interesting idea but I cant see the fan base liking the lack of noise from a field of them running.DaleJuniorFan wrote: ↑1 week ago Ford has unveiled a Mach-E bodied version of NASCAR's EV prototype that the series has been testing since last year:

Well at least they dont have to stop and change cars mid race nowadays because the batteries would not last at race speeds for more than half an hour! To be honest I dont follow FE so I cant really comment with any conviction. I dont like the tracks, I dont like the gimmicks like fanboost and have to say I dont like the lack of noise.DaleJuniorFan wrote: ↑1 week agoWhat about Formula E?Everso Biggyballies wrote: ↑1 week agoInteresting idea but I cant see the fan base liking the lack of noise from a field of them running.DaleJuniorFan wrote: ↑1 week ago Ford has unveiled a Mach-E bodied version of NASCAR's EV prototype that the series has been testing since last year:
I do remember that they had a short lived support category made up of 'race prepared' Jaguar electric SUV's, the Jaguar I-Pace eTrophy, but that got canned I think when Covid hit. It was never resurrected after.

The layout for the NASCAR Mexico race has been leaked. Regrettably, the janky stadium section has been carried over from F1.

Briscoe and Cindric lock up the front row for the 500, if you watched the sport during COVID you'll remember that this was the front row for pretty much every Xfinity race of the time

Remarkably that is the very first Daytona 500 pole for Toyota at their 19th attempt.

Justin Allgaier in the 40 is the first one to lock into the 500 through the duels.
Helio got caught up in a wreck early on and he will take the 41st starting provisional in the big dance.
