Ralf also tested for McLaren earlier in August (8th)

From Atlas F1 Tuesday August 6, 1996. https://www.atlasf1.com/news/1996/200.htm
Ralf Schumacher, the current leader of the Formula Nippon championship and brother of World Champion Michael, will test a McLaren Mercedes this week at Silverstone. The tests are scheduled to take place on Thursday, weather permitting.

Ralf Schumacher will start off in a F3000 car to familarise himself with the circuit, and then move to a McLaren Mercedes MP4/11. Ron Dennis said "Ralf Schumacher's test will represent the first opportunity for both the team and Ralf to work together with a view to forming a relationship for the future."

For the record Bernie Ecclestone did enter the 1958 Monaco Grand Prix. Connaught entered #12 & #14 cars with Bernie, Bruce Kessler and Paul Emery sharing the duties. Kessler posted a time of 1.50.5 (21st fastest) in the #12. Emery a time of 1.50.8 (22nd fastest) in the #14 and Bernie 6.05.0 in the #12 (apparently as emergency solution called by the boss aka Bernie himself). Since it was 1958 it shouldn't be a surprise if they switched cars between drivers during practice.

Bruce Kessler was friends with Lance Reventlow but he didn't get a chance to enter F1 again with the Scarab as he retired from racing in 1959. The picture along the swimming pool posted above is sometimes credited as Kessler driving rather than Emery. Even on motorsportimages the same #12 car is listed as Kessler (different picture).

For the record, Ecclestone did not enter the 1958 Monaco GP despite many claims to the contrary on the internet - this has been throroughly debunked many, many years ago, but (as with many myths) it keeps on rearing its ugly head every time someone reads it somewhere and thinks it's a good idea to repost. It probably started as a cheap joke back in the eighties, I recall it being around that long, it even made it into print in a respected source (Formula One Register). Since then, many period sources have been unearthed, including the official entry list and practice timing reports, and Ecclestone was never mentioned. In fact, it's questionable he was even there at all that weekend, as it's not entirely clear whether he was still involved with the team (from memory, he'd bought two cars at auction in late 1957 and may have resold them by then).

Please, just stop reposting this nonsense or else we'll be still talking in thirty years about a silly joke someone innocuously invented more than thirty years ago. Experience shows it is possible to kill myths, but it's important to stamp out the glowing ashes every time you encounter them.

He took part again at the RAC in 1999 this time driving a factory Toyota Corolla WRC, crashing out on Leg 2 while running 39th overall.

I met Martin on the Thursday before the Rally started. As a 10 year old it was a really cool moment and he signed my posters.

Pretty sure I shared some of my other autographs from that weekend on here earlier this year, including Burns, Makinen, McRae and others.

The late Wilson Fittipaldi partnered his brother Emerson at Gold Leaf Team Lotus for the non-championship 1971 Argentine GP. He actually did better than his younger brother in the first heat (8th to Emerson's 10th) but both retired from the 2nd Heat.

Valentino Rossi made 3 appearances in WRC between 2002-2008:

In 2002 he drove a Peugeot 206 WRC at the RAC Rally, crashing out just on the second stage of the rally while running in 25th overall.

In 2006 he took part at the Rally of New Zealand, driving a Subaru Impreza S11 WRC, finishing the event in 11th overall.

His final appearance was at the 2008 Rally Wales GB, this time driving a Stobart ran 2007 Ford Focus RS WRC, he would finish 12th overall.
