I am not sure that I understand anymore who is responsible for what. Bravi's name is not mentioned in any of those announcements. For 2025 season his current job has been fragmented, and given to two or three new hires. AAB is definitely a smart man; it will be pity to drop him (I think).
With Max taking an engine penalty in Brazil, can somebody remind me how the penalty system works? Is it no penalty in the sprint, but it is in the race, or it is taken in the sprint?

Apparently Fernando Alonso is still not entirely well but he will compete this weekend after treatment back in Europe. Sounds like he's had a nasty infection, bless him.

I am not certain, but I think the penalty is taken in the race, not the sprint. Others may be more certain of course.
That's what you get when you let old men compete in F1. My grandfather also always complained about intestinal infections! Especially when he forgot his medication...

Just for the main race not the Sprint. I did a bit of an update on the penalty at the end of the race prview thread

Renault, Honda fined by FIA for budget cap breaches
Red Bull engine supplier Honda's fine is the highest - $600,000 plus administrative costs. The FIA insisted there is no evidence the Japanese manufacturer gained or sought to gain any advantage from the inaccurate exclusions or adjustments of certain costs.
The FIA added that Honda was actually below the 2023 cost cap, and guilty only of failing to file accurate reporting documentation about things like dyno maintenance.
Renault-Alpine's fine is even lower - $400,000 - having also actually spent less than the cap but found to have omitted relevant information from its filings.
Max had to deal with profanities expressed during a broadcasted interview. Would anyone know what's the deal with Leclerc?
Jos said following:
He (Jos) even pointed out what appears to be clearly inconsistent standards in the fact that while he was punished by the FIA for saying f*ck in a recent press conference, Charles Leclerc went unpunished for an identical discretion after the Mexican GP.
This came up during an interview about (alledged) FiA bias. Mohammed bin Sulayem of course denied anything of this kind.
Inherent bias one can detect in the series is as old as the series itself, and it seems plenty of people got comfortable with it. What is bias for one, it's justice for someone else. What to do about it? Find better leaders, that would be my suggestion.

Scipio is also not really found of Jos. For me he is just Max's father and everything what goes with it. Apropos, did Charles got away with something Max has not? This question of essence ultimately decides whether Jos was stating facts, or making things up.
FIA explains why Verstappen and Leclerc received different F-word punishments
The FIA has outlined why Charles Leclerc escaped with a fine for swearing in an official press conference and Max Verstappen did not.
Formula 1 stewards fined Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc 10,000 euros ($10,834.00), with half the sum suspended, for swearing in a post-race press conference at the Mexico City Grand Prix last Sunday.
