Second visit to Stockton today, i improved by 4.3 seconds to 44.098

Thrashed by the kids of course, daughter won by 0.04, just under 41 seconds

I stopped early cos my arms were fucked, knew I'd beaten my best too lol

For context, the lap record is 36.6

And to be fair to me the kids have been 4 or 5 times now, only twice for me

Everyone does, but apparently it doesn't count for much as due to the low weight of the karts you actually get a bit more grip if you're heavier.

It's just the fear factor and reaction times i think. I feel the need for a little dab on the brakes before these double apex 180s whereas i think the kids just plough through them flat out

Also your best laps should be near the end of session but i do them in the first half as I'm physically wrecked near the end lol

Addendum to this, i had a bad lower back went i went and worse afterwards, but since realised that it's actually bruised ribs on the right where i slammed a barrier sideways. Flies on the side windows etc

The original back trouble cleared. First motor racing injury, cool
