Compared to last year, this livery is a letdown for the Peugeot 9X8, those streaks of that particular shade of green do not make for a good colour scheme.

Masatomo Shimizu flashed pink in All-Japan F2 in the 80s. That included a pink helmet because why not. Not exactly the best combo IMO

For the record the "Trident" sponsor in this case is an American chewing gum brand. So I guess it was a pink gum that made all this happen

Laurence Bristow's self-run BMW M3 from the 1992 British Touring Car Championship. I was going to put it in the "Rare liveries'' thread because it only started 2 races all season but I decided it was ugly as sin enough to belong in this thread.

This actually reminds me of the RTL livery campaigned by Kris Nissen in DTM 1994. It's not that ugly when you get used to it.



The worst one was the Unitron shade from 1992. Not related to RTL but still somehow using the same color pattern for the same driver.

I actually agree. Nissen's version does look better.

@Senna4ever Well, the livery matches the RTL television logo colors (the logo itself is visible on the door and over the rear fender). It is the largest private TV channel in Germany. Of course these days most TV channels don't use colorful logos anymore, more like grey logos that blend with the picture.

The japanese rally championship had a few of these, though they are more common in circuit racing and drifting.

The 2017 Renault F1 livery was fine but those pink cat motifs spoiled it.
