We're in Europe now for a race at Emilia Romagna or the much easier to type, Imola. After the last race I am now wondering if anyone will be able to score points this weekend, then again, after last year's race was rained off, will there even be a race for us to not score anything on?

Now we all need to try really hard this time, so please do try to concentrate


Here are your usual five main picks

1. Who will start the race from 13th place on the grid? Guess correctly and you score 10 points, if your pick starts in either 12th or 14th, you score 5 points.

2. Who will be the last driver on the starting grid? (pit lane starts don't count) 10 points for the correct driver.

3. Which driver will get the fastest lap? 10 points for the correct driver.

4. Who will be the first pointless driver? In other words, who will finish the race in 11th place? 10 points for the correct driver, 5 points if your driver finishes 10th or 12th.

5. How many cars will DNF? 10 points if you are correct.

Here are the results for Imola. Did we all do better than last race? Well, we can't have done worse can we? Of course we also have a new player this time around @Senna4ever , welcome to the game


Here we go then, prepare yourselves


1. 13th on the grid: Stroll, no one picked him sadly 12th Ocon Matt was on the money here and 14th Albon Everso Biggyballies, Picci, Senna4ever, Star and Vassago all scored on this one.

2. Last starter: After 6 races where he let you down, Sargeant finally paid out. Well done Everso Biggyballies, Matt, Monte Cristo, Ruslan, Senna4ever and Vassago

3.Fastest Lap: Russell, no one had him

4. Driver finishing 11th: Hulkenberg Matt, Monte Cristo, Ruslan and Vassago had him. 10th Tsunoda and Everso Biggyballies picked him. 12th Magnussen no takers on KMag

5. DNFs: 1 officially according to the race result, but apparently Alonso had stoped before the end of the race, he was classified as finishing 19th but the FIA race report says he retired before the end and that is good enough for me. So I'm paying out on 2 DNFs, which is crap for Matt as he had 1 DNF, sorry Matt. It's good for Everso Biggyballies, P. Cornelius Scipio, Ruslan and Star who had 2.

Bonus points: Well there were 2 places between Ocon and Gasly Ruslan, Senna4ever, Star and Vassago all got 20 points for being spot on. Everso Biggyballies, Matt, Monte Cristo, Picci and P. Cornelius Scipio all scored 10 points on this one.

Ah now this is interesting! I know they pitted Fernando very near the end, but at the time thought he went back out as Ted Kravitz mentioned they put soft tyres on the car and he left the pits. This article here does suggest he crossed the finishing line.

What a mystery! You are correct, the F1 website report does say he retired.

From the FIA's official pit stop sheet and the official lap chart:

Fernando pitted on lap 59, total time spent in the pits was 30 seconds (taking him to 1.30 spent in the pits during the entire race)




He crossed the line on lap 62, one lap down which I believe means he must have actually finished and the official race report is incorrect?
