Armstrong leads from Lawson and Lawson will take the title by two points as it is.... but still a few laps yet.

Armstrong's got another time penalty for not giving enough room.

Armstrong wins the race on the road but Lawson will take the title.

Armstrong wins on road, but I think Lawson will have won the race once the penalty has been applied. Certainly he has won the driver's title.

Kenny finishes 8th!.
Presume it was a time penalty for Armstrong and maybe Lawson will take the GP win as well.

Did not see much if any post race meeting between Lawson and Armstrong.... dont know if Armstrong is pissed with Lawson or just disappointed.

Liam Lawson becomes a Red Bull Junior
Kiwi Liam Lawson, winner of the just finished Toyota series in New Zealand has joined the Red Bull Junior ranks and will step up to Formula European Masters (Formerly Euro F3) this year. Obviously the success in NZ got noticed and his next step now put in place. He was already World's youngest ever Formula Ford series winner when he won the NZ FF series in 2016/17, winning 14 of the 15 races. He has been mentored by Kiwi legend Ken Smith through his career. Liam has only just turned 17 now. He was also German Formula 4 title runner up last year, a series he will continue in this year, alongside the Euro Masters. Actually he also entered three races in the 2018 Asian F3 Championship, winning every race he contested, including fastest laps and taking two poles.
In effect he is following in the steps of Dan Ticktum, racing in the Masters for Team Motorpark. Ticktum also won the last two Macau Grands Prix with Motopark.
The Formula European Masters season starts at Hockenheim on May 3-5.
Interesting to see if he progresses through to F1, and if he does it at the same pace as Lando Norris, who won the 2016 NZ Toyota series. He may not have the enormous family financial backing Norris enjoyed, but he certainly seems to have plenty of talent if his career path and success is any indication of his abilities.

It’s an Autosport podcast with an interesting first 5 minutes where they talk about Mick Schumacher and his 2018 F3 campaign. There’s lots of unsubtle hinting about Schumacher’s and Schwatzman’s sudden turns of form, then a killer line that is a surprise.
A few of us have discussed his strange turnaround in form versus the other Prema drivers and the rest of the field, but these few minutes add fuel to the conspiracy fire.

Ghiotto finished second with an exciting come back after a bad start from the pole caused by clutch problems. I look forward for tomorrow sprint race which will see schumacher starting from the pole position
