Well yes and no. Mercedes should never have been ahead in the first place. The pit stops just provided a little buffer.

Seb and Botts incident cleared. Probably fair enough. Still the Bottas / Danny incident to be reviewed. Im sure that will be cleared as Bottas gave the place back to Danny.

Interesting conversation between Brundle and Horner about the Vettel and Bottas incident. Brundle put the blame on Vettel turning in on Bottas, whereas Horner believed Vettel was far enough in front. Brundle was surprised and told Horner so. I wonder if Horner’s personal feelings affected his judgement there?

Good that the incident has been cleared,

Good result for Gasly in 6th. Hartley just missed points in 11th with the other STR.

Well Vettel closed a bit and Bottas overdid by some meters the breaking points. They didn't give a penalty probably because at the end vettel passed bottas.

Amazing to see Bottas bouncing off so many cars at the end. Hamilton untouchable. It wasn't so bad to watch to be honest, but Ferrari had the opportunity to leapfrog BOT a lot earlier in the pitstops. Their strategist needs to be fired.

Vettel had the corner really. In road racing (as opposed to ovals where more room is given) normally when you're that far ahead before the turn-in approaches, especially in cars like these with useless mirrors and sensitive appendages, the other guy normally concedes instead of staying in it. Anyway, atleast it was possible to overtake. I was beginning to get so frustrated watching the aero issues.

Also, Bottas was way out in the marbles, which probably didn't help when trying to slow down (the Vettel incident).
