What's unhealthy about it? Portion of protein, vegetables and carbs. Not the worst thing in the world.

Everything in moderation.

Lots of processed food, basically worthless nutrition. That said, I eat burgers a lot, but chose carefully where I eat'em. Certainly not in fast food restaurants

Not F1, anymore.

But interesting.
Sargeant 'stepping away' from racing; cancels 2025 plans

Less than two months from the start of the 2025 European Le Mans Series, Logan Sargeant has departed IDEC Sport and has seemingly walked away from racing.

The former Williams Racing F1 driver joined IDEC Sport in December, as part of a program that is meant to prepare Korean automaker Genesis for the launch of its new LMDh prototype program in the 2026 FIA World Endurance Championship. Sargent was due to share the car with Jamie Chadwick and Mathys Jaubert as part of Genesis’ 2025 ‘trajectory program.’

But today, IDEC Sport confirmed that Sargeant will not race for the team, saying: “Following the decision of Logan Sargeant to step away from the sport to pursue other interests, IDEC Sport and Genesis Magma Racing are taking note of his decision and will announce his substitute in the next few days. We wish Logan all the best in his projects.”

DAMON HILL AXED FROM SKY F1 TEAM FOR CRITICISING VERSTAPPEN?
It’s commonly known that Damon Hill will not return as a pundit for Sky Sports F1 in 2025 after the British broadcaster opted not to renew his contract.

Hill’s departure from the Sky F1 punditry team, announced in mid-November 2024, sparked speculation about the reasons behind the decision to axe him, which resurfaced again recently.

Well, first Herbert, and now Hill. Both are from the old era, and not everyone appreciates old approaches what you say on the mike or into camera lens.

Media British bias in evidence. It MUST be because of Verstappen that Hill has gone.

Nothing to do with him being out of the sport for 26 years (some might argue 27), being the guy who was one of the last to give up a foot clutch, driving only V10 engines etc...

Direction of automobil industry in EU for the future.

Dr. Ursula von der Leyen
President of the European Commission

Since Germany, Italy and France are involved with others, it will be interesting how it affects racing activities (if at all, at least on the short run). For that reason I thought this development deserves a brief mention on this forum.

Anyone who doesn't sleep in winter knows by now, there is turmoil in the market, and why. Mercedes and BMW have plants in US, so they might not be as affected by tarifs as perhaps Audi, which has some plants in Mexico. I was there more than 10 years ago, so I have no idea how it looks there today. It's too early to draw final conclusions related to politics. Plants - it's all robots. One kilometer long lines have mere handful of people to service it. Automation took over.

Anyway, push is for clean air we breath in Europe.

Predictable development, but still tough to swallow. World is revolving around GOAT, Mr. Hamilton. Some online sources are bestowing upon him unashamedly eight titles has has achived already (I think they added one in 2021) who is going for ninth WDC this year. Leclerc doesn't count. Sparks will fly, and not only from the plank board when rubbing tarmac.

A few online media adopted position - The truth is, what I say it is. [Beatty / Shooter 2007]

Quick solution - Read less media, watch more races.
The season has not started yet. Any pundits claiming they know who is going to be good this year can be easily ignored. I try to avoid the media hype and make my own opinions on what teams are good and what drivers will win based on what happens on track. I save the media for behind the scenes stories. Even then, it takes several "gains of salt" for me to believe anything they say.

So who will be the best this year? Too early to tell. Let's see if that changes after Australia.

I don't think six-time World Champion Hamilton is going to win another title any time soon.

Helmut Marko says Isack Hadjar crying was 'embarrassing'
Claims Marko said he would have cried at least half as much haven't been verified.

Headline writers are a little over the top: https://www.grandprix.com/news/red-bull ... marko.html

Marko's actual quote is: "But we hope that we are able to close that gap with them over a maximum of five races. We have some other problems, but the tyre wear is the biggest problem."

"We know what we are working on, and we are working hard, Marko added. In three to five races we can hopefully solve it. As I said, our tyres need to warm up faster and then last longer. We have an upgrade in the pipeline, but it will take a little time."

And: https://www.msn.com/en-us/money/other/f ... 8cf2&ei=40

All kind of little rule changes related to flexing wings ahead of Chinese GP.

It would be easier if they just banned wings.

Newey is looking back...

One at the top of the list of RB's current problems are tires. I've posted his quote earlier. On fresh rubber Max will leave competition in dust, but his tires fall off after about 8 laps, and he slows down, like it or not. [Dr. Marko]
