9 Excellent race all in all, so much to watch and lots of action. One of the best in ages (apart from the winner as far as I'm concerned)
Just so you know, I am a woman

10. Just as good as last week (maybe a wee bit better thanks to the weather). And a huge +1 for the result (sorry Lewis haters)!
It was good to see him win one after these last few years in a struggling Mercedes.

Look, it was good for F1, and good for the Brits but I have become very much a McLaren and Lando fan of late. I think for me Lewis (and Mercedes) became a victim of his / their own success. As with Schumacher / Ferrari before. Maybe Max will become the next one to twist my judgement that (I dont like 'over'dogs) way. ( I always prefer underdogs).

9. Had a bit of everything. Great scrap for the lead. Bonus point for no safety car. Best race since Canada 2012.

I saw the replay, and it was a good win for him. Not a fan of Lewis, but not a hater either. The ones i hate is the LH44cult. The ones who hope someone will harass Penelope, the ones who cheered when Dilano van 't Hoff had his fatal crash. The ones who were heavily disappointed when Jos Verstappen had a big rally accident and survived it. The ones who approved the fatality of a rider because he was sponsored by Red Bull. Yes. Those are the ones who I really hate. The ones who can not appreciate a single good result of Russell (Woody), Lando (Nowins) Alonso, Sainz, Leclerc. Are convinced Mercedes are full of Racists, even when they supported Lewis since he was 13, and Toto in particular. For them, Lewis is above God. In fact, God should be praising Lewis and be lucky that he is allowed to be God over a planet on which Lewis walks on.

9 for me.

Only thing it lacked was a bit more retirements and drama. But in modern F1, that's a doubled-edged sword. Unless they perfectly pull into the pits like Russell did, it's 99.6% a VSC at best, likely a SC, and quite possibly a red. And the latter two options totally ruin a race (apart from a lap 1 crash), while a VSC can screw a race as well if someone gets lucky with track position and gets almost a free pit stop.

So it lacks the drama of a perfect race... a Spa 98, or Europe 99.

But I don't think that type of race is possible anymore. So maybe this is the modern version of a perfect race? *shrug*

Also, I wish Lewis didn't win, but me hoping he wouldn't made me care about the race at least (these days I mostly don't). So as much as I said -5 points for Lewis in the race thread, that was tongue in cheek. He was lucky - Russell would have likely beaten him, Piastri was faster if not screwed by McLaren - but he did everything right and it wasn't some BS fluke red flag/SC inspired win (see above).

This is one of the many reasons I avoid Twitter. Full of people who just love to spread hate like that. In fact are there any redeeming qualities of Twitter these days?

BTW, there is not a single driver I hate or would wish ill against. I don't understand this attitude that some people can have.
Unless it's someone responsible for genocide, no one is really worthy of hatred.

There are some drivers I've laughed at and poked fun of... (Here's looking at you Maldonado!)

Schumacher committed genocide against Frentzen's love life?

That's what you mean, right? :P

A solid 8 for me! Most of that goes to the unpredictable winner and unpredictable weather. To be a 9 it would have needed more wheel-to-wheel battles for position and a few more retirements. To be a 10 it would need to be a Spa 98 or Nurby 99 as was previously said. One where cars fall off the track, break down, crash into each other (especially key runners), non-DRS passes, wheel-to-wheel battles, plus the unexpected winner.

I have voted one race 10 out of 10 in the last five years but can't remember which one...
