I have also been tight on time this week and last night about half hour before the FP1 deadline I decided to look at the weather forecast. The one I looked at had rain for much of Saturday, and looking at their hour by hour 4-5pm, when qualy is on was saying showers. Long story short I for reasons unknown added a tenth to my original time on the basis of a drying track, and if I was not the slowest but nearer the slow end I would be right for at least a few points so edited. I was actually out then so when I got home after P1 had nearly finished and the times were already down to last years Q2 times I was happy I had checked the forecasts and that it was going to rain. So I decided to click on other weather links Google came up with just to see how much it was going to rain..
It seems I earlier had picked the only forecast that said rain for sure and the general consensus from other forecasts was that it was going to be dry by qualy time so yeah, long story short I am in the same boat and will likely unless my rain dancing works have taken a big hit in the accuracy and zero points for my troubles.
